It Looked Like a Boat, but it was a Sunflower...

Seriously...why do I always get in predicaments of helping people?  Last week, my sister asked me to look for a small craft so she could learn to sail!
My Sis will say that,  I am just a nice guy who just loves to do things for others.  Especially when it comes to laborious work!  I say, that I am a VERY NICE GUY who loves to do anything and everything when it comes to boats and boating!  I have done my share of the life on water and I am willing to share my knowledge with those who want to learn from me!  So here goes, another adventure from SAILOR WILL!  "Fixing my Sister's SNARK" is a story of the ressurrection...of course, it is written in another's hand...because I am busily working on the damn boat!

Super Snark with a foam body covered with ABS fiberglass and
a 45" SF sail area.  Perfect and safe for my sister!

I picked it up the Sunflower on the 29th of  August, right before the August “Blue Moon” on the 31st which meant that I “may get lucky”. It was 120 miles roundtrip to Lenaxa, Virginia.  After washing the hull inside and out (it was filthy), I started to take off all the rotten wood and other parts that needed fixing. I also ordered a new sail (she selected the colors!) and a new well cap for the inside center board well. Here it is without the old well cap which is busted bad…
